What's in your bag?
So, what is it that you put in your bag to make it worth carrying around all day?
First of all, let's have a look at the bag itself. Something cool, but not crazily expensive or flashy would be perfect, as you don't want to end up in a potentially dangerous situation! Since you carry the bag all day, being able to wear it in different ways will make it much more comfortable and flexible, which is why our three-in-one Switch bag is an ideal solution. Another important feature of our Switch bag is its secure pocket hidden from view, ensuring that your valuables remain safe.
Now that we have the perfect bag, we need to fill it, and these days the number one accessory for most people would probably be their mobile phone, to stay connected with friends and family. If you're out and about all day, the last thing you want is to run out of "juice", so a mobile charger is an essential backup in case your phone battery dies on you. When you're killing time or just chilling, listening to your favourite tunes, earphones are another essential item.
You'll need some money / payment cards / travel cards to get around, and a purse / pouch to keep them safe. If you carry keys, we find it helpful to have a keyring that's easy to find, so you're not forever fumbling around in your bag.
When it comes to keeping you looking and feeling fresh, a discreet freshen-up bag can save the day, together with a small hairbrush and scrunchie to revive your look at any point. We all know how important it is to stay hydrated, so rather than getting caught without water, we recommend a refillable water bottle that can be refilled at the many free water points across the UK, also doing your bit for the environment (read more about this on our Cascablog post "Have you #GotTheBottle?"). Rehydrating can help dry lips, but if you're like us and sometimes need a bit of extra help, don't forget to carry a lip balm or lip gloss with you.
So these are the essential items we recommend carrying in your bag to ensure you're ready to enjoy your day out.
Have fun and stay safe!
